The Pandemic Over by 1 Feb 2022?

On this day we welcome the Lunar New Year of the Golden Ox and someone pointed out that the date is a palindrome: a word, phrase, or sequence that reads the same backwards as forwards.

I see a picture of myself standing in the middle of the palindrome, looking at the numbers in front of me.
A thought came – a reversal of things back to its original state – this marks the start of a reversal of Covid19?
The pandemic had started during the previous lunar year of the Rat from China when it spread to the rest of the world. In just a year, more than 110 million people got infected and 2.44 million died, with numbers still climbing.
Does this mean that it is now at its peak and the curve may start to flatten? If so, this pandemic may be completely over by the beginning of the next lunar year on Feb 1, 2022.
