Reverse, Reset, Restore (2)

As the plane was landing, I put on my ear buds to continue with my worship.
And the song “Resurrender” was playing at the chorus:
“We are your people
You are our God
We are your children
Make us holy like you are
We are your children
You set us apart
God, for your glory
Make us like you are
You’re calling
We’re coming
Not walking
We’re running
God we re-surrender.
Yes, Heavenly Father, we re-surrender ourselves and our identity to you as Your children. What the enemy has perverted, reverse and reset everything to its proper places. Restore men and women to the original roles and image that You created them, pure and holy, glorifying Your holy name. Amen.
Sexual Abuse in His House

At our worship meeting this morning, there was a song by Darlene Zschech which I loved so much in the past. Remembering that she has left Hillsongs Church, I googled her whereabouts and started to read the full extent of this horrible and sick abuse by her ex-pastor, the late Frank Houston, against the young men in Hillsongs.
In this year alone, so much sexual abuse by male pastors and leaders in the Church were exposed – the most shocking was Mike Bickle of iHop and the CEO and President of the Morningstar Church, Chris Reed, and just last week, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, in the Philippines, where 2,000 policemen had to be deployed to arrest him. I won’t even mention the serial abuse and massive cover-up in the Catholic church that has stunned the world.
What pained and angered me was that in many of the cases, when the victims and staff brought it up, instead of taking decisive action to deal with the perpetrator, and to report the criminal act and help protect the victims, they were canceled by the Church. This cover-up has allowed this evil to continue for an extended period of time, even decades.
My heart bleeds for so many innocent lives that have been destroyed and harmed. I lamented about the leaders of the Church - how could they have no fear of God? How could they not do anything about it, to weed out this poison within and to establish procedures and safeguards for the safety of the children and young people? The Church was supposed to be a safe haven for the lost and hurting!
The men are truly not okay. Even in the house of God. How dare they!
Oh Lord, please prevent more men and women and children from suffering at the hand of these evil and wicked men. Don’t delay this “reverse, reset and restore” process one minute longer I beg You. Smash the towers of pride, arrogance and love of money these horrible men have erected for their own lust and ego. Expose and break the unholy alliance of those who colluded and enabled them. There can be no compromise.
The Remnant
Earlier, during our worship, I saw a huge angel flapping his huge wings in a smooth and rhythmic movement, producing a beautiful sound. Then many more angels appeared to be doing the same thing. And through that “IN” door that we have arrived at, was a very bright place. Emanating from a very bright light was the Lord. Then I heard the same beautiful sound from a sea of worshippers in that place.
The Lord said to me these are the Levites - worship leaders and musicians who did not condone what the leaders did and have left the Church after they were gagged and cancelled. This remnant who, like you, have left these mega churches to worship only God, who did not bow to the spirit of Mammon and refused to be seduced by Babylon.
We Need Barbie Jael and Deborah
And, I suddenly recalled: Oh! That dream about 16 years ago – of a huge serpent that would not die even though I chop it up like round pieces of a sausage. It kept getting back together. I managed to kill it only when I sliced it from the head to the tail. It has to start from the leadership in the Church, and right to the bottom of the line.
It has been happening all this time and no one has sliced that serpent of seduction. One thing for sure, the men in charge have failed and cannot do it.
Lord, we need Fearless Barbie Jaels with that peg and hammer to slay this serpent, and Barbie Judge Deborahs and to reverse, reset and restore the righteousness of God in Your house once again. Then together with the remnant of godly men and women, they may re-surrender themselves and restore worship that is holy and pleasing to You, and make Your house a safe and delightful haven once again.
So, help us God.
