Preparedness Averts Peril

It’s been more than a year to unload and de-clutter and to simplify and consolidate – of assets, resources, commitments and responsibilities. It was much more difficult than I had anticipated.
V has warned me last year that this will be a path of much sorrow, and I discovered first hand why… have to let go of anything that hinders - people’s needs, expectations and demands especially.
This morning, I saw a poster and shared it with the others.
Lord, it had been difficult, and painful.
But absolutely necessary, yes.
Thank you for this assurance and reminder today about staying focused and committed to finish this all-important task, getting prepared for war. You know how hard the communities have been working to prepare for it while we battle the enemy; how much injury and backlash we have sustained already.
Help us to persevere and finish this well and in time to avert this peril.
