What was supposed to be a simple cataract surgery turned into a 10-week ordeal due to a careless surgeon. But I know in my heart that God had allowed it for good. It led me to slow down, rest more and pray hard for myself for a change, for healing and for a clearer vision.
I chanced upon this wonderful worship song saved in my document folder. I extract some parts from “Battle Belongs” by Phil Wickham for you here:
“When all I see is the battle,
You see my victory.
When all I see is the mountain,
You see a mountain moved.
And as I walk through the shadow,
Your love surrounds me.
There's nothing to fear now for I am safe with You.
So, when I fight, I'll fight on my knees.
With my hands lifted high
Oh God, the battle belongs to You
And if You are for me,
who can be against me? Yeah
For Jesus, there's nothing impossible for You.”
While some say I should sue the surgeon, I find myself at peace. Sought a second opinion and found out where the problem was. So, after a few more weeks of treatment, I no longer have to endure massive headaches, my eye just sometimes blurs up, while working on the computer. One word a time, I fight this good fight, and click away.
As the song says, the battle belongs to the Lord.
Today as I finish up this post, the last of the series and for the year, I feel victorious and triumphant. For I know I have come to the end of this lonesome path of godly sorrow, which He had told me I have to journey through, except I did not expect it to take fifteen months!
Here is the only record I have of this transition from one door to the other which I had shared in an earlier post. Separated by a path of godly sorrow and silence, are the two doors, “OUT” and “IN”:
Yay, I am at the doorstep of that “IN” door now. ☺
In great jubilation, thankful that I have made it, I am ready to step in.
Hallelujah!
MMM 23 Sept 2024
Although I slept late last night, I was the first to arrive for our Monday morning worship meeting, all bouncy and fresh, very different from the past year. Towards the end of the two-hour worship, V said that signs and wonders will follow us. Once again, we will see miracles and amazing visions as we have entered into a new era, through that door, into the light.
And this Chinese song from a Taiwanese group came on the screen, where 3 people were carrying the torch, and the song sings:
“Raise up the torch, send out the message of unending hope.”
“Raise up the torch, send out the message of unending hope.”
Followed by a picture of this cute pink campervan – singing:
“We are saved, all because of grace.
We are pardoned, all because of grace.”
All of us laughed in delight ☺
All done. We are going on that road trip with the Lord!
And then in the next song was this image: that cuboid!
I recall that it was in the Prayer Vault, where God had shown me a vision of a flying cube. This was where a friend showed me that when you open up the six-sided cube, it is the cross. And then another friend sent me a news report with a picture of a UFO sighting - in the shape of a cube. I think in the US. The time of signs and wonders is returning!
At the closing was the image of this verse from Isaiah 61:10.
“I delight greatly in the Lord;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”
And Florence proudly showed her t-shirt, which V told her to wear this morning.
The happy bride adorned with her jewel…
Such Joy! ☺
