From the last post where God promised Exponential Providence, I continued my reading of Psalms 34 (emphasis mine).
11 “Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 Who is the man who desires life,
And loves many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil,
And your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.”
(Psalms 34:10-16 NKJV)
I caught this teaching moment from V.
V: “What does it mean to fear the Lord?”
Me: Okay, first, we have to keep our tongues from evil, and our lips from speaking deceit (v13). Next, we have to stay away from evil people, who create conflicts and clashes with their words. And, finally, not to do anything evil but to continue to do good, seeking and pursuing peace in our words and actions (v 14).
I thought: It's about that evil mouth again…
Do you recall what Kelly said about the geometric function of exponentiation that forms a square, and the Chinese character of the mouth?
I wrote last year about a war of words:

Hmmm… we are going to see an exponential increase in evil - in lies and deceit in 2025?
We have long been bombarded with so much lies and deceits in the world and in the media already – you mean this is going through the roof this year? Perfect recipe for inciting much more hatred and bloodshed for sure, which, the devil, the father of all lies, is happy to stoke.
Thank God, He had promised us Exponential Providence earlier!
Still, I made a note to myself to be careful to fear God and to pray for our leaders and for the church, the body of Christ, not to get sucked into the dizzying whirlpool of lies and deceit. For our minds to remain clear and our ears tuned in on the Lord’s Channel V, that we may make wise and prudent decisions, guided by the exponential providence of God.
And definitely not be led by fear (FOMO or fear of bad news) or greed, lest we fall into the temptation by the evil one dangling quick and easy money. And worse still, to lead others into flaky investments and get-rich-fast schemes or scams.
“For the face of the Lord is against those who do evil and they will be cut off from all remembrance from the earth!” (verse 16)
Shudder.
